New Recipe of the Week…

My mother in-law gave me a ton of mushrooms that she was given from the local mushroom farm.  Now my family only eats one thing mushroom, and that would be cream of mushroom soup.  I am used to good old Campbell’s soup but thought with about two pounds of mushrooms what better time to give the homemade version a chance.  We use a lot of Cream of Mushroom soup in our cooking so I made sure to make a lot..  I used the following recipe from and thought it tasted pretty good.  I think I would have liked to de-glaze the pan with Sherry to add a little extra added flavor, but live and learn!  Hope you enjoy!

    This is great, and Cream Of Mushroom soup goes great in a lot of recipes.
