Scrunchies, head bands, bobby pins, and clips…. We have all had them - and many of us still have them cluttering our bathroom counters. A hair style can make a statement, catch the eye, and make us feel beautiful. Stores sell a variety of hair accessories, but they are often pricey and break easily. Lilla Rose offers a large variety of the hair products we all use that not only are affordable but are also durable! (I know, I was shocked too.) Lilla Rose has a huge selection of hair accessories. They started with the Flexi Hair Clip (check it out guys, you’re guaranteed to be impressed!) and great ideas grew from there.
I received three products to review from the independent Lilla Rose sales agent Denise Martin: the Flexi Hair Clip, bobby pins, and an O-ring. First, let me tell you that these products were all well made - they are sure to last for many, many hair styles. When I first heard about these products, I just didn’t truly realize the amount of hair these clips could hold. The Flexi Hair clip was not at all what I expected. I expected metal loops with a stick to put through them (just like we’ve all seen over and over again in the department stores). In reality, this is a bendable product with a solid metal clip attached to the loops. Great!! Now I can’t lose them (or have them taken away to be used as swords). I love this product. My hair is thick, and somewhere between wavy and straight with layers (which drives me crazy, but try making a hair appt. with 4 boys), plus I have received a ton of compliments when I wear it. I often wear my hair in a half up-do, and I recently changed from the large Scrunchie’s to small bands. This is the style I use, even when getting dressed up (remember, I’ve got lots of boys and not a lot of time to get dressed up!). The Flexi Hair Clip is great for my styling needs: it holds my hair securely and looks fabulous! They come in such a large selection of designs I can’t even begin to describe them, so you will have to check them out. Really…. do it, you’ll be glad you did!
The second product I reviewed was a pair of flowered bobby pins, which were also very solid. These pins held my hair back for an entire 12 hour shift as a hospital ER nurse (not exactly a desk job). Honestly, I only expected them to last for a few hours before becoming loose, so I brought a hair band for backup. To my amazement, they held the whole time, they didn’t hurt my head, and the hair band stayed in my purse. I used the flowered bobby pins, but Lilla Rose offers many fun designs, and you can check them all out here.
Last was the O-Ring. I needed instructions to use this (thankfully they came with the product and with pictures). Basically, these are glamorous ponytail holders. They simply bend in half and clip to themselves (easy), which – I am told – is much better for your hair than traditional rubber or elastic bands, and they are much more stylish. Again I was impressed with the O-Ring’s high quality and could tell right away that it will last a long time, through many hair styles.
Lilla Rose not only creates beautiful hair products but they also feature many other useful items, such as jewelry, badge holders (add a little “wow” to your work attire), lens lanyards, and key chains. I really enjoyed working with Denise, the independent sales associate working with the company. She was very accommodating and great at directing me in choosing a correct size for my hair (as there are 7 sizes of Flexi Hair Clips!). As a side note, the Lilla Rose Website offers videos and pictures to help you choose the correct size for your hair and great ideas for styling.
