We like to have themed movie nights, where the meal and snacks go with the movie and maybe we do a related activity as well. For example, we recently did this with Rio. We kicked the soccer ball a bit, had a nice Brazilian meal and a Brazilian dessert during the movie.

We love to have theme nights: pizza, Mexican, all dessert, etc. We don’t always keep the movie to the theme, but having all the food is fun.

Our whole family (my sisters, their husbands, all our kids) get together once or twice a month for a night of board and video games – we do a potluck. It’s a blast.

Our family movie night tradition is to put on our jammies and snuggle with lots of blankets, snacking on popcorn and watching classic movies together.

We make popcorn and gather in our upstairs loft on/around the couches to watch a movie on our family movie nights. My girls are 7 and 5 and it’s like magic for them.

We have a family movie night once a week, based on my husband’s schedule, we always have a fun treat and cuddle! I love cuddling with my boys and they get excited knowing they’ll be getting a treat, often one of them gets to pick which makes it more fun!

We watched the Pirates Band of Misfits last weekend. We try to have movie night every Saturday. If there isn’t time for movie we turn off lights, watch a show we’ve DVR’d like Wipeout and the kids get candy (one of their favorite parts)
