As we all know by now October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (along with Domestic Violence and Ovarian Cancer) and Looking Good Feeling Beautiful (LGFB) is a leader in promoting feeling good about one self during and after the struggles of breast cancer. LGFB’s missions statement states the following:
Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. It is our aim to improve their self-image and appearance through complimentary group, individual, and self-help beauty sessions that create a sense of support, confidence, courage, and community.
You can take part and help spread the word of LGFB a couple of ways. You could be a digital do-gooder! Every time you “Repin” an image from the Elizabeth Arden Pin It To Give it board, a product will be donated to LGFB. You could also share this post to spread the awareness of LGFB. $5 from every beauty box purchased will be donated to LGFB and Lash Control will donate a portion of each purchase as well. Lastly head to LGFB and find a participating location near you that will give make-up and beauty classes to help women look and feel their best. Make a girl’s day of it! Laughter and love is one of the best medicine and can make some of the fondest memories. I keep referencing women but men can be affected as well and LGFB has locations and promotions available for the men in your life. This is a great way to get the entire family involved!
See the beautiful and fashionable scarf that can be donated? Who wouldn’t love to receive this beautiful Oscar de la Renta scarf?
#spon: I’m required to disclose a relationship between our site and LGFB . This could include the LGFB providing us w/content, product, access or other forms of payment.

12 years agoIt’s great that they are trying to help remind women battling and surviving breast cancer that they are still beautiful! I know that the effects of treatment can make women feel less than gorgeous.
