Who loves Tinkerbell? I do, I do! Did you know that Tinkerbell had a sister? Well, you do now! This animated film lives up to the expectations you may have of a Tinkerbell movie. It has actually become the favorite movie in my house. We received a copy for review, and in less than a week, it has become our absolute favorite movie.
The animation alone is AMAZING. The vibrancy of the colors in the warm fairy land (where Tinkerbell lives). And the stark contrast between there and winter fairy land (where Tinkerbell’s sister, Periwinkle, lives).
One of the best parts about the movie, is the personal growth you see from Tinkerbell. We all know that Tinkerbell can be a bit selfish. Ok, more than a bit selfish, she is quite a bit self-absorbed. Well, in this movie, she has to go out of her comfort zone, literally, and make an amazing sacrifice.
I have always loved that Tinkerbell has her own sense of style. I think it is a good influence for girls to see that Tinkerbell isn’t afraid to be a little different. Also, I love that Tinkerbell always thinks of ways to solve problems. I know that is part of her duty as a Tinker Fairy, but I have always loved that when she sees a problem, she thinks about it. She thinks outside the box as they would say. It is interesting to see if Periwinkle shares any of those nuances.

We LOVE Tinkerbell at our house! l love a fun movie with a story that teaches a good lesson…that is what I think I would love about this. My 7 yr. old daughter would love it.
Is this only for residents of Colorado? What I would love most about this movie is seeing the smile on my daughters face watching it. She loves Tinkerbell!
