Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl or measuring cup and melt in your microwave on high for 45 – 60 seconds. Stir well to make sure your chocolate is smooth with no lumps. I do this in my measuring cup so that it drizzles easily. Also, my microwave is slow so it takes about 90 seconds. Drizzle chocolate across Ritz crackers.

Tips for Making Chocolate Peanut Butter Ritz Drizzles

No matter how long you leave the crackers to sit, the peanut butter will always remain soft. This means you’ll never want to stack any of these crackers before and after drizzling. If you do, it will become a mess and the peanut butter will get everywhere.

The coconut oil simply makes the chocolate much smoother and easier to work with. This means you won’t be dealing with lumps. It also gives you a bit longer before the chocolate starts to harden on you. Drying time isn’t longer as far as placing the crackers in the fridge. However, it will ensure you have plenty of time in between the microwave and drizzling on the chocolate before it hardens on you.

I love this recipe! It’s a modernized version of something that my grandmother used to make when I was a little girl. She used to put peanut butter and chocolate chips on crackers for me. This recipe looks even better and totally brings back happy memories.
