3 Free Preschool Apps That Inspire Learning & Are Mom Approved

I was compensated for this post on 3 free preschool apps that inspire learning & are mom approved.  However this did not influence my thoughts and the opinions below are my own.

3 Free Preschool Apps That Inspire Learning & Are Mom Approved, learning apps, free itunes apps

As parents we want our children to succeed and studies have proven that the earlier we start working with them the more likely they are to succeed at school. These 3 free preschool apps from Kid Academy are right on track for helping our children succeed and are some of the newest apps I have installed for my two boys.

Bingo ABCs alphabet phonics song with farm animals cards for toddler free

Singing has long been proven a great way to get kids involved in their learning and help them retain what they have learned. This app is a colorful and interactive app that gets the boys involved with this child favorite song.  Bingo ABC’s has brought this song to life with it’s bright colors and letters that pop up onto the screen during the song so that kids can associate the letter name with how it looks.  Download on iTunes.

Preschool and Kindergarten learning kids games free for toddler

My youngest has just started preschool and we are working hard on him learning how to write his letters.  I am constantly on the lookout for free apps like this one that inspire learning, help with the task at hand and keep him entertained.  This is one problem I see with free apps is that they don’t often keep my son entertained (due to lack of variety) long enough for him to retain what he is supposed to be learning.  He has spent quite a lot of time playing and learning on this app and still continues to go back for me.  As a mom I love that it’s teaching him valuable lessons that will further his education at the same time.  Download on iTunes.

ABCs alphabet phonics & Montessori learn to read app for toddler

This app is my oldest son’s favorite of the three (mostly because of his age). It turns learning into an interactive process with the help of mazes, rhymes and the tracing. The combined aspects of this game make it not only the perfect learning app for kids 6 and under but an app that I can use as a reward for doing their chores.  Download on iTunes.

I’m a firm believer that kids need to know how to use technology (age appropriately) and that it can be a powerful tool for learning.  These 3 apps from Kid Academy are right up that alley for my boys.  All 3 offer some aspect of learning (which makes mom happy) and incorporates that learning into bright colors, interactive playing and built in reward/encouragement mechanisms (this makes the kids happy), so it’s a winning situation all around.

**Please keep in mind that the free versions of these apps are limited to give you a taste of what the full app has to offer.  That being said I felt that the free apps were worth the download and will remain active apps on my iPad for sometime.**

What are you favorite learning apps that you have installed for your kids or grand kids?   Which of these 3 free preschool apps would you like to download the most?
