I am really excited to tell you all about my kids’ new favorite bedtime story. Have you all had the chance to become acquainted with Isabella and her many adventures? If not, then what are you waiting for?! Isabella: Girl on the Go by Jennifer Fosberry is a new book based on Fosberry’s best-selling Isabella series.
Isabella is a precocious little girl with a hugeimagination. She pretends everyday things (like the sandbox) are extraordinary places (like the desert and pyramids of Egypt). Take a trip with Isabella to places like the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, The Statue of Liberty, and much more.
My kids love this book. They think it’s great because of the amazing pictures and the unique way Fosberry writes (for instance, she writes “the father said” rather than “her dad said). I think it’s great because of the amazing pictures, Fosbery’s unique writing style, and because of how educational the story really is. Honestly, I’ve had to do a little research in order to answer the questions that have come up since we started reading Isabella: Girl on the Go, and I am always in favor of something that help me to teach my children better. All in all, I would recommend this story to anyone with young children!
