Are you a game fan? In our family it is hard not to be. I grew up playing games and card games were the ultimate. When you needed something 15 people could play at once there just wasn’t many other options. So when I was given the chance to review Ratuki, I was ready.
Ratuki is a fast paced numbers game. Count the numbers up or down, the goal is to be the one to lay the five though. What makes the game hard is that there is no turns, everybody is playing their cards at once so you can’t take long to make a strategy. This is where my husband really struggled with this game. His brain doesn’t think like that, and he couldn’t keep up with me.
I loved how the cards were fun and all different. While their are only five numbers on the cards each one has multiple ways of showing that number, some are numbers on a dice, fingers being held up, written word or just lines. It is a great way to get your mind thinking outside of the box.
We felt the rules were very easy to understand and after one round of practice there were no questions. The recommended age is 8+ with a maximum of five players. Each player does receive their own deck. With up to five players this game could get a little crazy, which is perfect in our house. So grab a deck and spend some time with your family tonight!
**I was sent Ratuki for review purposes only. This did not influence my opinion in any way and the above review is 100% mine.**
