Flat Iron Experts Babybliss Pro Review

With a new haircut comes new tools sometimes. My new tool is a Tourmaline Babybliss Pro Ceramic CurlingIiron from the Flat Iron Experts.  I have never invested in a quality curling iron and was amazed what could be offered in an iron.  Now I understand why the stylists can get a style that I can not.

The Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is rated #2 on our Best Curling Iron list for one reason alone and it is the price. If price wasn’t a factor, this curling iron will for sure be the #1 choice. The Babyliss Tourmaline Ceramic Curling iron emits negative ions and far-infrared heat that brings a number of additional benefits to your hair:

1. Eliminates static electricity
2. Preserves more moisture within the hair shaft

3. Neutralizes odors and bacteria
4. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle

The best feature for me, is the pop in, pop out temperature control.  I can’t count the amount of times on my old curling iron that I adjust the temperature and don’t know it as I am rolling the barrel.  I don’t have to worry about this any more because if you don’t pop it out you can’t adjust.  The Babybliss has amazing heat recovery as well.  I don’t ever have to stop and wait for it return to it’s temperature.  This is impressive because I have hair.  While it has gotten shorter since I have kids that still doesn’t say anything about the fact that it’s so thick.  I have it thinned and still have the hair of three heads.

What about the extra long cord.  Plenty long enough in my house to check on the kids and what they are getting to in my room!  I did find that because of the higher heat settings my curls stayed longer.  While I still need help (on a personal level) of figuring out new styles and how to make them work the Babybliss Pro will be a huge help in the department.

The big question?  Is a curling iron worth $119.99 with a sale price of $84.99?  I figure I replace a curling iron every year at an average price of $25.  Now I believe that I will be getting several years use out of my Babybliss Pro Ceramic Curling Iron.  Now this still comes out to the same price, but I don’t have to spend time researching or deciding for a new one.  Also, if it holds my curls better I think it’s a win-win situation.

With 5 barrel sizes and 40 heat settings this is a curling iron with everybody’s styles and hair types in mind!

wow – This looks like a nice one to have! Definitely like the temp pop feature – I too have turned my curling iron OFF while curling, thinking I just rolling! LOL 🙂

Compared to my styler that I bought last year at more than $100 that quit working a few months ago I say you got a great deal! Thanks for the share!

Sure beats rollers and hat hair!

  • Mom vs. the boys

I just started practicing making curls with the curling iron and I like it, I need to get them a little neater but I would invest in a good curling iron if it worked well and gave me lots of options.
