Momma Edison Baby Buckle – Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

Summer is on the way, and you all know what that means – trips to the park, ice cream cones, shorts, and the end of muddy snow boots and wet mittens!  I love this time of year, but since I’ve become a parent, the warm spring and summer weather has sometimes proven to be a challenge rather than simply a blessing.  Anyone who has ever tried to buckle a squirming child into a red hot carseat without pinching chubby legs clad in shorts knows exactly what I’m talking about.  With three kids, I feel like I’ve tried just about everything to help protect my kids from hot seat belt buckles and accidental pinches, but nothing has ever worked as well as my new Baby Buckle from Momma Edison.  This super-cute buckle pad goes over the buckle part of any five-point harness to help protect your little ones’ legs without interfering with the belt’s ability to operate effectively.

My lion-faced buckle cover was an instant hit with all of my kids.  They were fighting over who got to try it first before I even had it out of the package!  Now, I consider myself a woman of many talents, but figuring out complicated instructions is not one of them.  Fortunately, the Momma Edison Baby Buckle came complete with really simple instructions (and they even had pictures for the installation-challenged consumer like myself!)  I admit that I did put the Baby Buckle on upside down the first time I tried it, so I went on over to the Momma Edison Website and watched the installation video to get myself sorted out – these people have thought of everything!

The great thing about the Baby Buckle is that it works for any age on practically any contraption: strollers, new car seats, old car seats, infant carriers – if it has a five-point buckle, then the Baby Buckle fits.  It’s a great way to keep the kids comfortable during long car rides, and it’s even helped to discourage my sneaky two-year-old from trying to escape her car seat while Mommy’s otherwise occupied (as in driving at 65mph down the highway for example.)  Oh, and did I mention that its machine washable?  That’s right, it’s the ultimate carseat companion for any kid and parent!

    I would love to win this for my son!! I hate those buckle marks and I always feel like they are digging into his legs 🙁 Also, this would be perfect for the summer so it wouldn't burn his legs!
