Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?
I am currently living in Utah. I am happily married, and a mother to a sweet little boy! Life is wonderful doing my two favorite things…being a stay at home mom, and creating! I have always loved being crafty. Scrap-booking, stitching, painting…you name it, I love it!
Why did you start your Etsy shop?
I remember looking for that perfect baby shower gift one day that was original and not so much the “cookie cutter” gift. When I couldn’t find it, I decided I should make it. I wanted to give items that had a more personal touch and were both cute and different. So I started stitching onto onesies. I had so much positive feedback that I decided to expand my horizions. And here I am!
How did you come up with your Etsy shop name?
I have always loved Daisy flowers they are among my favorites. I also love anything with dots. So I just took some of my favorite items and combined them. I spelt Daizee the way I did, to give it a unique touch.
Do any of your pieces have a memorable story behind them?
Lol! I had one on here that had a crab on it. One day my son was throwing fits left and right!! Just when I was about to pull out my hair, the onesie idea popped in my head. So the onesie had a crab on it with words stitched on saying “I’m Crabby!”
What was your first piece you sold?
The very first peice sold on Etsy was a black and white tie with a red star on it. The phrase stitched on it was “Rock Star.” Outside of Etsy it was a onesie with a car on it.
Where do you get your inspiration for your pieces?
Anywhere! Outside while walking around,driving,reading childrens books to my son, etc. Sometimes just from custom orders. It’s amazing what others have in mind for their sweet little bundles of joy!!
Do you have plans for expansion?
That’s the idea 🙂 I would love to have my stuff in boutiques. While it’s still my first year, I am just happy to have sales.

Why should people buy homemade?
Personally I love homemade items! The seller has the ability to take any item to a more personal and creative level. You can’t buy creativity in a department store. 🙂
Any works in progress?
I have recently recieved a shipment with more colorful onesies to stitch on! I am excited to start adding more items to my shop!!
