My Take On One Hand Two Hands By Max Lucardo

One Hand Two Hands by Max Lucardo  is absolutely adorable.  The pictures are very cute and whimsical like the description says.  One Hand Two Hands is the perfect book to show your toddler what their hands are for including, petting the dog, brushing your hair and teeth, pick flowers and many more activities.  What I love about this book is that it points out all parts of your hands finger by finger and includes your wrist.

The pictures were very engaging for my two year old.  As we don’t sit through books by actually reading the words but pointing things out in the pictures.  He made it through all 32 pages and was ready for more.  He was more than thrilled to point out the moon, stars, flowers, bears, skunks and bunnies.

This was also a great book to show gratitude and servitude.  Your child will unknowingly be learning lessons about helping and serving others.  Some great discussions can happen from this book about why and the importance of helping others.  I recommend this book to anybody who has a child in their house from 2 till at least 8 in their house.
