Bamboo Nature Diapers Review and Giveaway

What features to you look for in a diaper? Price? Quality? Thickness? Nature friendly? These are some things people have mentioned in the continuous search for a great diaper. When you are pregnant you don’t think about what brand or qualities to look for in a diaper-just that you need them and lots! Bambo Nature has created a diaper to have many of the qualities parents look for and be environmental friendly. Many parents have switched to cloth diapers while still 80% use disposable, where do these end up. Bambo Nature diapers are 80% disposable and nearly all their packaging and shipping materials can be recycled! Bambo diapers also are non toxic (most are I think) and hypoallergenic reducing any chance of reaction to the diapers.

I asked for recommended size when I was ordering Bambo Nature Diapers for my 23 pound 18 month old. Come to find out often Bambo Nature Diapers run slightly bigger than most brands, so a size 4 fit my chunk perfect! These diapers come in different colors for different sizes, so just a glance is all you need. They have designs on the front, a wetness indicator and flexible side panels. I have been using Bambo Nature diapers for several weeks now and have not had a leaking issue yet…. even for overnight!!! I was impressed Bambo Diapers held up better than my Huggies! And ‘blowouts’ have remained contained. This must be due to the the double leakage barriers and super absorbent core.

Thankfully my little guy has not ever had many problems with irritation to diapers, but Bambo Diapers have been declared to “possess the smallest possible risk of causing allergies and skin irritation” by the Danish Asthma & Allergy Association. Bamboo Nature Diapers offer a large range of sizes, from premature to size 6 training pants. Plus the prices are affordable, for 46 size 4 diapers the price is about $24 (with a guaranteed absorption of 250 ml…. I think I am going to test this). Now if Bambo Nature Diapers added boyish designs to the diapers and wipes to their product line I would be completely sold.

    I look for a nice comfortable fit. We use cloth diapers 95% of the time but will still use the occasional disposable for traveling. I look for a nice stretchy elastic waist when buying disposables.
