Bryton Pick Review

If your husband is anything like mine than if you eat at a restaurant than there had better be a toothpick supplied at the end of the meal, whether at the cash register or out of my own purse.  We often visit restaurants and they don’t have toothpicks available so I have to have a few of them hidden away in my purse, and I do mean hidden because of the kiddos.  This is something I really rather detest because they are sharp and my kids dig in my purse a lot (Coulter knows I throw the bank suckers in there and Corbin knows there are toys).

Bryton Pick was hopefully going to be my solution.  Bryton Pick is a nifty little product which has two metal type ends (they are remind me of tinfoil because they are really thin and shiny.  This is meant to replace the wood aspect of a toothpick and be easy to carry in a purse.  They even come in a little plastic bag to help keep them clean.  Another aspect of the Bryton Pick is that it is made for multiple uses.  Now Cory is a big toothpick fan and he is ok with this, while I don’t use toothpicks often I am not sure how I feel about this.  While using the Bryton Pick I am not exactly going to be near anything to clean it and the thought of cleaning steak out of my teeth and then doing it again two weeks later…

Cory liked the concept a lot and I feel safer with them in my purse.  The one thing Cory didn’t like is the “cleaner” ends are fairly sharp on your gums.  Because they are so thin and meant to go between your teeth like floss does this doesn’t leave a lot of width to round the edges.  As long as you know this going in than they work like a charm!  The benefits of floss without sticking your fingers in your mouth and the ability to clean dinner from your teeth on the go.
