Carmex Tint Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

Carmex has been providing lip balms out for 70 years and this summer has expanded their line to include Carmex Moisture Plus.  Carmex Moisture Plus is an ultra hydrating lip balm that contains Vitamin E + Aloe moisturizing protection, Suncreen/SPF 15, has a slant tip to make applying easier.

I was sent two of Carmex’s tints as they are being refereed to; Sheer Pink and Sheer Peach.  I was pleasantly surprised at the light sheer that they put on my lips.  I could see that if your lips are light pigmented how it would add some wonderful color, however for me it was a light shine that matched my lip color wonderfully.  My favorite aspect of Carmex’s tints?  They still have that smell and tingle that Carmex is known for.

Carmex tints are a wonderful mix of our favorite lip balm mixed with a lip gloss.  It’s a perfect combination.  I would like to see a bit more variety of colors offered, but I can understand that as a new product it can get expensive making a variety of colors.  Just something for Carmex to think about for the long run.  I love how hydrating the tints were and how sleek the packaging is.  Yet another wonderful product being offered from Carmex and with products like this it’s no wonder Carmex has been pleasing lips for 70 years!

    At this time of year – my lips need HELP and carmex is the best:) Add the tints and… cannot beat it.
