Phone Dump Friday – Colorado Potato Harvest 2013

Welcome to Phone Dump Friday.  I will be “dumping” my phone each Friday (or so I hope!) to give you a closer look into my crazy life with my two boys.

Guess I am a little behind on my Phone Dump Fridays but September is always a tad busy with harvest.  We are finished with our harvest for the year!!  I can’t tell you how happy that truly makes me.  Grain is under cover either at the Coors elevator and potatoes are stashed in the warehouse, this means all of our crop is about 90% safe.  I don’t want to say it’s guaranteed safe because things can always go wrong like two years ago when one of the cellars caught fire.  That makes for a bad day 🙁

My aunt joined us for a week this harvest which has become a 5 year tradition now and she took some great pictures as well as some that my husband took, combined with those I took.  Enjoy taking a little tour of our 2013 potato harvest.  Then have a virtual drink with my husband and I that this harvest is over and we survived it.
