Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?
I live in the south with my husband and three year old daughter. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and work part time. I stay home with my daughter two days a week and scrap whenever she lets me!
Why did you start your shop?
I love to scrapbook and the idea just sort of hit me one day. A family member was talking about not having time to organize her photos and I couldn’t believe everybody didn’t organize and play in their photos like me! I started looking for somewhere to sell my scrapbooks and found Etsy.
How did you come up with your shop name?
I had a different name all picked out, but it was taken when I registered. I chose the first thing that popped in my mind and I think it’s much more fitting for me than what I had originally chosen.
What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
I really like the albums I make that can be used for family photos. I have a variety of albums that can house family photos from vacations, to church families, to everyday life.
Do any of your pieces have a memorable story behind them?
The Disney albums do. I’ve never been to Disney and secretly want to go on a Disney cruise so bad I can taste it. I thought it would be really fun to live through others for the time being if they let me scrap their trips for them! : )
What message, if any, do you want to convey with your art/craft?
Memories are to be cherished. Be sure to take time from your busy day to reflect and enjoy a little. Take a snapshot on a random night during homework time or dinner time. Jot down ideas and memories in a journal to read later when you scrapbook those photos.
How did you decide what medium you wanted to work with?
I’ve been scrapbooking for about seven years and it just seems to come naturally.
If you had to choose one other medium in which to display your “creativity”, what would that be, and why?
I would make more cards. I really enjoy that and plan to work on that a lot this summer when I have more free time.
Why should people buy handmade?
Most every item you buy handmade is one of a kind. I’m the type of person that treasures that. No two scrapbooks I make are identical. I really don’t want them to be.
Any advice on selling things handmade?
It takes a lot of work and effort. I’ve put hours and hours into my scrapbooks and shop. Don’t give up. It might take time and the road will be bumpy, but stick with it.
Apart from creating beautiful pieces, what else do you do?
I can be found most any evening playing dolls, watching Dora or the Fresh Beat Band, or eating out if I get half a chance!
Do you have plans for expansion?
I have big plans for the summer! I won’t have to work and I have plans to make many, many things for the fall and Christmas seasons!
Any other sites you can be found on?

Anything else you would like us to know?
