Fall is a beautiful time of year. The leaves are changing, the summer is ending, and the cider mills and pumpkin patches are opening! Not only is there Halloween to look forward to, but many other fun things for children. If you’re looking for ways to keep your children busy this fall, here are a few fun activities they can enjoy.
Pumpkin carving: It doesn’t have to be the night before Halloween to carve a pumpkin. Buy a few pumpkins so your children can have fun carving and so you can have a nicely decorated porch this year! This is fun to do with friends and family, and makes for great pictures!
Cider mills: If you live in the Midwest, cider mills are extremely popular. Head down to your nearest one, get some cider and donuts, pick your own apples and enjoy a nice fall day with your friends and family.
Sports: Since the summer days have finally cooled off, your children can have a fun time playing outside without working up too much of a sweat. Football is now on TV, and can be a great time to throw the football around with your children.
Leaves: There is nothing like raking up the whole yard as a child so you can jump in a pile of leaves! Have a nice afternoon outdoors with your children playing in the leaves. Times like these make great pictures!
Crafts: Fall is a fun time for crafts as well! Whether your child has fun drawing pictures, collecting leaves and turning them into a pretty picture, or makes a scarecrow out of craft supplies, it is a good time to be creative!
Fall is a beautiful time of year, and is a great time to get creative, have fun outdoors, and to spend time with your friends and family! Try to do something different and exciting this year!
