I love books and I am a sentimental person. Recently I have come across I See Me as a great way to combine the two. I am constantly ordering books for my boys and leaving personal messages in them with dates. Most of these books are still stacked on a shelf because I don’t trust them with the pages yet and recently I have added Who Loves Coulter and Corbin to the mix. The book is written by Jennifer Dewing and illustrated by Maria Carluccio, with my children’s names subbed in.

The dedication pages starts off with the ability to customize to your child/children and I was able to let them know that it was to both of them who are the best of brothers also that it was from Mommy and Daddy and made in 2011. This sure helps the the personalization factor look a little more professional. What is even better is at the bottom of the page it actually gives the date the book was printed, mine was printed on May 4th.
Not only do you get to sub your own child/children’s names in but you get to say who the book is essentially being read from. My book was written from my standpoint so it says Mommy or Daddy loves Coulter and Corbin, however, if you are a grandparent, aunt, uncle, god parent, etc… than this would be a great keepsake between you and the recipient. Just a little something to make you the favorite for awhile LOL.
I found the pictures to be brightly colored and fun. I liked that they were a little more abstract rather than fine lines, kind of gave it the feel of children.
