The the animated card I was able to include a picture of both boys and it switches between each picture based on the angle that the card is tilted at. On the back you can include up to five lines of a personal message, I chose the following quote about boys (I love quotes!). One of the best things in the world to be is a boy; it requires no experience, but needs some practice to be a good one. ~ Charles Dudley Warner. Now I chose a quote because they are usually much better said than anything I can come up with but for those of you who are good with words being able to include that message means a lot to the receiver.
Snapily’s site made the design process SO EASY! I selected whether I wanted a 3D photo card or an animation card. From there I was walked through the process of choosing a background (I chose plain so that my photos were forefront, but they do offer several pages of options), uploading two photos, my personal message, font size and style. It was so easy. I was able to preview my card and off to the printers it went. So simple and something that will truly have meaning to those on the receiving end. Maybe it’s a pal from “the good old days” that you want to take a walk down memory lane or a card to your partner to remind them why you love them.
While my focus is on their animated cards Snapily offers a good selection of items. When I was teaching I used bookmarks for all kinds of rewards and gifts. I would try to find bookmarks that we special to the student I was presenting it to, which can get hard when you have 30 students. Snapily offers an option to custom make one. A process like this would make it so much easier to just make one for the student in mind, sure beats shopping for them individually.
Shipping was amazingly fast. I had my card in less than week, which for a custom made item I felt was really good. I could tell that printing and packaging were done quickly as the ink wasn’t even dry on my card and left the imprints of my personal message on the envelope that was included for mailing.
All in all I am very impressed with the concept of Snapily and look forward to the expanding of the lines they already offer. I am not sure that I could afford this type of item for every person on my Christmas card list, but I think it is well worth the price for the family and friends I know will keep them.
