Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Anastasia and I’m a busy mum juggling part time Finance work, my fun Etsy shop, my blog http://anastasiac.blogspot.com/ (love love blogging!) and my family!!
I’m married to a wonderful guy, Andrew and we have two very active boys Peter, 7yrs old and Neo, 5yrs old.  We live in Sydney, Australia – its a beautiful place to live with friendly people, great parks, cafes and beaches!! **Brandy here as a side note this is on my list as number one place I would like to travel to**

Why did you start your Etsy shop?
I set up my Etsy shop as i love to create by hand and i love paper goods and paper crafting.
After having participated in lots of blog swaps and getting great feedback I thought why not give it a go – i was actually apprehensive and it took me a few months from opening to actually listing anything but Im SO glad I did, Etsy is such a great community!

How did you come up with your Etsy shop name?
Percival Road was the street I grew up in – its the place where the little girl (me!) dreamt and played and was inspired!

What is your favourite item in your shop and why?
I love the Retro girl tags and cards – they are all handcut and so one of a kind as I use original paper ephemera from the 1960’s – they are so fun!! Get great feedback and this always makes me smile!

Any advice on selling things handmade?
Promote as much as you can, the world wide web is HUGE and you need to let people know you’re there! Also having fantastic photos is so important as people are viewing the items and cant touch them so that visual image is so important! I’m never happy with mine ha-ha I’m constantly tweaking ….

Why should people buy homemade?
By buying something made by hand you’re not only buying something unique and not mass produced, you also know that lots of love and heart has been put into it so that makes it a little extra special!

**Please take a moment to visit Percival Road Designs.  If you comeback here and leave a comment with your favorite item you can have a total of five extra entries to leave on any or a combination of my current giveaways.  You must leave the comments for the extra entries on the giveaways you would like to be entered into.  This offer ends on  8/6 at midnight.
