Meet Etsy owner Tarapparel

Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?
-I am from Sarnia Ontario, born and raised. I went to school in London Ontario for fashion design. One day I hope to be a designer for bridal, prom, and evening wear.

Why did you start your Etsy shop?
-I started my etsy shop because I thought that running my own business and making dresses would help me keep my skills in check while I work at finding a job.

How did you come up with your Etsy shop name?
-Tarapparel is a mix of my name and what kind of products I am selling. I didn’t actually come up with it, a friend suggested it and I really liked it.


What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
-My favourite item in my shop is my Pink Floral Summer Dress. It can be found at this link here.

I like it the most out of my other dresses probably because of the colour. Pink is my favourite colour. I also just really like how the silhouette turned out, it’s really cute.

Do you have plans for expansion?
-Right now I don’t have any plans for expansion, but if I were to get a good opportunity to expand, I likely would. I’m going to take this business wherever it takes me.
