The Perfect Knot Review

The Perfect Knot is a state-of-the-art-tie-clip that is placed in your tie to make the perfect Double Windsor knot. Once the clip is in place, make your tie as you normally would around the clip. The clip remains hidden in your tie, forming The Perfect Knot.

The Perfect Knot Inc. was created by Franco Biancamano, a former NFL football player and Inventor. Through his many accomplishments and adventures as a professional, Franco also found his way in to the world of fashion as a print model. Being around such A-list celebrities and models Franco found it extremely odd as to how everyone would ask him how to tie a necktie. To make it easy for everyone Franco invented “The Perfect Knot”. A unique product that makes tying a Double Windsor simple and perfect every time! Franco proceeded to market his product with the help of Anthony Franzese, a friend and investor who also shared the same passion and vision.

Well here is another one of my dirty little confessions.  I can’t tie a tie.  Don’t even ask me how because I will tie it in a big bow like I would my shoes.  What’s worse is my husband who was made to attend many “formal” classes, can’t tie one either.  Clearly we don’t attend many events that a tie is called for.

So why would I review something like The Perfect Knot?  Well those few times that we do actually attend something that is tie worthy it would be nice if between the two of us we could make it look somewhat presentable.  So here goes…The instructional DVD that is included with the purchase of The Perfect Know (or is viewed on their website) was extremely helpful in learning what the pieces do.

I found that The Perfect Know was very successful in helping Cory’s tie look presentable.  I was surprised at the lightness of the pieces.  When I first opened the box and saw how shiny the pieces were I expected them to be metal.  However, I was surprised to find that the pieces were actually plastic, a very shiny plastic.  I read another review that owned a catering company and found the usefulness of this product in teaching her waitstaff (mostly women who had never owned a tie) to tie a tie.  I think this would be a wonderful help in that instance.  I belong to many organizations that host semi-formal dinners every year and it’s not hard to notice those that can’t tie a tie.  It would be nice if all reception hosting centers would invest in this type of product.   

The Perfect Knot includes:  3 clips (S, M, L), 3 sets of collar stays (S, M, L) and a step by step instructional DVD. 

Now that I own The Perfect Knot I am itching to attend something a function that requires my husband to use a tie.  I think a babysitter is in order in our near future.  Now if only we lived any where near a place that would require a tie…
