Petcakes 2 Woodland Creatures Won’t Get Seperated

Sometime ago I did a review for Petcakes and I am thrilled to be at it again.  Petcakes recently put out Petcakes 2 which are Woodland Creatures.  No surprise here, based off my last review that these are a hit in our house.  I actually like the Woodland Creatures better because I felt that they are more boy friendly.  Colors are offered in orange, yellow, blue and purple with the animals being a panda bear, brown bear, raccoon and mouse.  While the first set of Petcakes offers a tad bit more “girly” animals and pink there were a splendid option for my niece.  However, my boys both like stuffed animals and Coulter adores the fact of being able to “hide” the animals into a cupcake.  It’s really a win win situation this time.

Petcakes 2 Are Made Up Of The Following Furry Creatures

– Hi! Nice to meet you! I’m Roco Coco™ the raccoon and I love Honey Suckle Woods™. I sleep all day and come out at night . My friends and I have parties and sit around licking sweet frosting off cupcakes left from family picnics. My best party friends are Honey Cakes™, Nutty Nicky™ and Bamboo Berry™.

– My name is Honey Cakes™. I live in Honey Suckle Woods™. I look for bee hives and then make friends with the bees. They let me taste their delicious honey. I spread it on my cakes, bread and put scoops of it in my tea. My Honey Suckle Woods™ friends are – Roco Coco™ , Nutty Nicky™ and Bamboo Berry™.
– Pleased to meet you. I’m Bamboo Berry™ the panda. I live in the bamboo patch in Honey Suckle Woods™. It’s quiet and peaceful there. I eat fresh tender bamboo shoots and for dessert I dream of vanilla cupcakes with berry frosting. Yummy! Roco Coco™, Nutty Nicky™ and Honey Cakes™ often visit and we share all our cup cakes.

– Nutty Nicky™ the squirrel is my name and running up trees is my game. I love chestnuts and walnuts, peanuts and almonds. I put them in the cupcake frostings when I snatch them off the picnic tables in Honey Suckle Woods™. I even have a place I hide cupcakes for the winter – You’ve got to meet my pals Bamboo Berry™, Roco Coco™ and Honey Cakes™.

The Petcakes are receiving a lot of attention this last couple weeks as I am making some graduation cakes and Coulter wants to help.  He gets to ice his cupcake and I get to finish sculpting mine in moderate peice.  Corbin is also having a grand time dragging them around by their cupcake tops and making sure they receive lots of watering (he is getting his last front tooth).

What do I really love besides the adorableness of Petcakes if you don’t un-attach the plastic string holding them to their cake bottom you don’t have to worry about the animal being lost from it’s cake.  This does however take away from being able to exchange out the tops with different bottoms which I am sure kids will adore but until Coulter can actually pick up his toys without World War III happening in our house they will be staying attached.

    Awwwww, how do you choose just one? I have already forgotten half their names but I love them all. Lol. Roco Coco would be hubby's fave cause he had a pet raccoon as a kid.
