Premieres Tonight: Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story

One of my biggest fears in life is losing my children.  One of these fears is that one of them is kidnapped whether by a stranger or for some a family member.  I know that I don’t have to worry about the latter, but you never know about the first.

Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story premieres tonight on Lifetime at 9PM (ET/PT).   Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story  is a film based on the dramatic true story of Tiffany Robin’s 2008 rescue of her six year old son, Kobe.  Kobe was abducted by his father and taken from their home in Queens, New York to Seoul, South Korea.

Living in a household of boys, I Lifetime Movies are one of my guilty pleasures when I am alone, true stories are really a tear-jerker for me because…well they are true.  I tend to think about how it could affect my life and how I would be if it had happened to me.  Taken From Me kept me in tears pretty much the whole way through the movie and a little bit of suspense.

Mark Miller played by Terry O’Quinn is willing to help Tiffany in her quest to get her son back.  At first he is hesitant as he is unfamiliar with South Korea and it is seen as kidnapping in their country.  They are able to form a plan of action to bring Kobe home and after seven months, Tiffany is able to have her son back.

Immediately following the movie tonight will be a lifetime premiere of an hour long documentary, Beyond the Headlines: The Tiffany Rubin Story.
