As the owner of dogs we always are on the lookout for new collars so I was thrilled when I partnered with Safetpet.com to review a personalized dog collar.  In the past we have went with choke collars because Bo would chew the vinyl ones off the necks of our other dogs.  However, now that we only have Bo (sadly) we are able to go to a normal dog collar.  I went onto Safe Pet’s website and found that it was easy to navigate once I found the site.  It took a couple of tries because it was telling me it was under construction. 
 
Safe T Pet offers a variety of items including personalized collars and leashes, no bark collars, designer cat collars, designer dog collars and harnesses, pet tags and personalized luggage straps.
 
I was offered a personalized collar to review.  I chose the purple collar with white lettering so that it would stand out.  We live on 1200 acres and our dog(s) are bunny chasers so if they get out we either expect a phone call from the neighbor or they come home 24 hours later.  I liked the fact that our phone number was printed directly on the collar because when our Beagles get into their running mode they won’t come to anybody, even us so the phone number could possibly be visible to anybody who saw them.  I ordered this collar to be 3/4″ wide so it had plenty of room for personalization to be adequately seen. My other choices were 1″ or 1/2″.  
 
When you buy collars you want something sturdy and as I was getting this one on-line I was a little nervous about what I would be receiving for durability.  I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and found this collar to be thick and strong.  When I ordered this collar I was told to measure my dogs neck and two leave two fingers worth of width, so I assumed that it was going to be custom cut to fit his neck.  I was wrong though and it came with the ability to loosen or tighten accordingly. 
 

Safe T Pet’s collars come in a variety of colors including Black, Neon Green, Lt. Turquoise Blue, Red, Purple, Hot Pink, Orange and Chocolate.  Your thread color options are the following: Hot Pink, Hot Orange, Chartreuse, Red, Bright Yellow, Sky Blue, Tan, Royal Blue, Black , Silver, Gray, God, Bright Lime Green, Purple, Brown and white.  As you can see they offer a variety of ways to customize your new pet’s collar and have a color combination to meet everybody’s needs.
