I think every women should have a good set of tools. The Five tools a women should have are listed below . I do believe these tools are necessities to get things done around the house. I put together furniture (kid’s beds, shelving, etc). without having to wait for my husband to come home. How many toys take a screwdriver to get to the batteries?
1. Power drill or impact wrench – I begged for one of these for Christmas this year. Dewalt makes a baby impact wrench that is only a couple of pounds and fits into just about any space. I had the guest bed put together in seconds. The remodels can begin…so many things so little time 🙂
2. Screwdriver set – Essential especially if you don’t have the above tool. I know a butter knife works in most instances but you can pick these sets up for very cheap and I think it’s just a necessity.
3. Adjustable Wrench – Just one of those tools that is needed for odd jobs and good to have on hand. An adjustable wrench fits most jobs and it’s only one tool instead of keeping track of a whole set.
4. Rubber Mallet – We all know what uses this has. One that most don’t think of (make sure it’s clean) is that I use it with wax paper to to flatten out my chicken breasts. Works like a charm.
5. Diagonal Cutting Pliers – Boy they lock those kids toys in tight these days. What a huge help in cutting those zip ties!
