It’s no secret that our kids love to attend Sunday school and learn about God. However, when we’re at home it’s hard to keep them focused. I’m a mom of three boys and they have been known to get up and walk out during a bible lesson. My husband and I put our heads together to come up with some ways to reinforce the bible for our kids.
3 Ways to Reinforce the Bible for Kids
#1. Animation in Our Voices
I have been known to be a little boring while reading. We agreed that we will step up the animation a bit. The boys love to hear dramatic voices and that’s what we’ll give them. I love that they actually respond to my animation during stories, it’s very heartwarming.
#2. Acting Out the Stories
On any given night, my husband and I can be found acting out a bible story. We feel at this age the kids need to know the stories are serious, but they also NEED to know the stories.
#3. Activity Kit
We shop at Family Christian a lot and we came across these items for kids known as Hymns and Bible Songs Activity Kits. These activity kits have several different activities for our children that helps reinforce what we’re teaching them. As you can see, they learn a lot about God through these activity books. We personally love the CDs because everyone can sing and worship God together. The carrying case is also extremely nice because my kids can carry around the kit wherever they want to go (perfect for long car rides or appointments at the doctor).
