Bop-It! – Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

Well my family has officially found a new favorite game – Bop It! from Hasbro Games.  This toy has been around for over a decade now, so I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard about it. But if you’ve never actually tried your hand at this fast-paced, amazingly fun game, you are definitely missing out.  I have vivid memories of playing Bop-It! for hours with my college roommates, and laughing until I cried as we tried to out-score and out-perform each other.  For those of you who have never played, Bop-It! is really based on a pretty simple premise: the game gives you instructions (bop it, twist it, pull it, or shout it) which you must follow within a very limited amount of time.  Take too long to follow the instructions, or bop when you’re supposed to twist, and it’s game over.  However, don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the game – Bop-It is the perfect product for hours of fun.  In fact, I think that Bop-It!’s straightforwardness is part of its charm.  Not only is it challenging for my husband, neighbors, friends, and me, my five year old son also gets a kick out of the game.  You can play solo mode, passing mode, or even party mode (where you’re instructed to “bop-it” on various parts of your body).  Seriously, I think I’m in love with my new Bop-It!
Board and party games by Hasbro Games are favorites of my whole family.  My son loves Elefun (where you get to catch butterflies with a cute little net), my two year old daughter is obsessed with Dora the Explorer Candy Land,  and my husband and I have logged hundreds of hours playing games like Scrabble, Monopoly, and Taboo.  If you and your loved ones like to play games, you definitely need to check out the Hasbro Website.  Add that link to your favorites list and you’ll never spend another boring Friday night in front of the T.V. again!
