The weather here in Colorado has officially warmed up and this makes me want to host parties every weekend.  BBQ’s are one of my favorite things because I am a social butterfly.  I love hanging around people, watching everyone’s kids run around and play pretend/games together and the feel that everyone is having a good time and getting to know each other better.  New friends are made every year at BBQ’s and the relaxed atmosphere they have.

BBQ’s around our house are filled with good drinks, good food and lots of laughs.  Part of hosting a good BBQ means having things look gorgeous without putting in a lot of effort or at least giving the appeal of very little effort needed.  I always aim for a  menu that is going to be simple and will leave me lots of time for socializing time rather than any of us chained to a grill or the kitchen.
