Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?
I’m from Nashville, TN and I have two daughters, Ava Grace (4, almost 5!) and Audrey May (2). I used to work in the music industry but am now very thankful to be a stay at home wife and Mom! My girls keep me busy – but I love it

Why did you start your Etsy store?
I love doing needlework and I’ve always made gifts for friends and family. Everyone would tell me I should sell my stuff but I just didn’t really know how, so along came etsy and here I am!!

What is your favorite item in your store and why?

I have a towel with bluebirds and a cuckoo clock; I just love the pattern so much and have used it many times. I absolutely love bluebirds; you will see many in my shop!!

Who taught you to embroider and how long have you been doing it?
My grandmother and mother both taught me how to cross-stitch when I was six and I’ve been doing needlework ever since! I started doing embroidery more in the last few years. I’ve grown up with all of the women in my family doing needlework so I’m happy to carry on that tradition!
Where do you get your patterns for your embroidery?
I get them from a variety of places. Some I have from my grandmother, and I have friends who have given me patterns that they have found. I also get some of my patterns from Patternbee, It has an amazing collection of hard to find vintage patterns that are out of print. I LOVE that site!
What is your inspiration for your embroidery?
I find inspiration everywhere – I’m always thinking of things to embroider on and what pattern would be the perfect match for that item. Also I love to try and think of things out of the ordinary to embroider on. I’m fortunate to have many pieces of my grandmother’s embroidery around my house so that always inspires me too!

Do you have plans for expansion of your Etsy store?

I would love to expand my Etsy store and offer more products. I’m still new to selling on Etsy so I’m doing a lot of trial and error right now and just trying to get my store out there for people to see!
