Meet Etsy Owner Owl Tracks

Where are you from and tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Yulia and I am a cat-loving college student from a town nearby Chicago, and I am majoring in business management.  Some of the things that I love are handmade stationary items and office supplies, I can’t go into a store without buying some sticky notes or a new to-do notepad. In fact, my goal is to open a shop on Main Street, that sells handmade stationary/paper supplies.


Why did you start your Etsy shop?

I love thrift shopping and finding beautiful and unique items. All those things are now starting to take over my house, so I’ve decided to start selling them. And although it’s hard to part with them sometimes, I am generally very happy about it and I love running my little Etsy shop.


How did you come up with your Etsy shop name?
Well, I used to draw pictures of owls for my boyfriend a few years ago and we both thought they were really cute. Later, when I was trying to think of something cute for the Etsy shop name, and I thought of owls, and I pictured a little owl hopping around leaving tiny tracks on the ground. Nothing could compare with the cuteness 🙂

What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
My favorite item from my shop is ‘Vintage Caramel Popcorn Sign.’ It’s so versatile! It can be used as a decoration literally in any room in any way. I love it!

Anything else you would like us to know?
I am happily in love with my amazing boyfriend, he’s been with me through thick and thin and I really appreciate it. I love having a companion by my side.
Also, his whole family is severely allergic to cats, and my dream was always to get a kitten as soon as I move out, sigh.
