The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow DVD Review

The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow DVD is a great movie for the kiddos. It teaches unconditional love, kindness to others and how to nurture the sick. I watched this with my kiddos and was very impressed. The animation reminds me a lot of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Then it hit me…DUH…because it is made by the makers of Rudolph.

The story line is:

After Sister Theresa (voiced by Angela Lansbury) rescues an orphan shepherd boy from a lightning storm, she lovingly nurses him back to health. However, the boy suffered injuries during the storm and wakes up blind and discouraged in his new surroundings. With Sister Theresa’s help, the pint-sized shepherd with the king-sized heart learns that seeing goes deeper than what your eyes show you. Together, they discover that unconditional love can overcome any obstacles.
