Sweet Summer Treats Free Summer Fun Coloring Pages

Coulter is finally at the stage that he likes to color.  FINALLY!  I have been waiting for this to come for some time now and can’t be more pleased.  He has been happy to learning worksheets, especially because they are filled with trucks and construction equipment but he has yet to really just want to color.

I can remember spending hours coloring and then having to sign the coloring book page.  My cousin Krista and I would head over to our grandma’s house and drag out the huge box of crayons (there must have been 300 miscellaneous crayons) and the 50 coloring books grandma had (I think my mom may have used some of them) and we would go to town at it.  20 pages later we would move onto playing with tinkertoys or the swingset outside.  Bliss I tell you, bliss.  The carefree younger days.

Free Summer Fun Coloring Pages

The Sweet Summer Treats free printable coloring book is 9 pages of fun for the little ones that the boys have been having a good time coloring in.  Coulter is enjoying telling Corbin that he needs to stay in the lines and as usual I buy a few minutes while I am cooking dinner that I don’t get little helpers.  Along with all the printables that I have posted recently it keeps me from yelling across the room and it keeps the boys learning. A win-win situation.

I laminate most of my printables and keep them in three-ring binders with a pouch filled with markers or crayons. This makes it easy to wipe off and I can use it multiple times. If you don’t have a laminator the page protectors work just fine.
