I am headed out to a Halloween party on Saturday night and while there will be plenty of kids activities including slime, peeled grapes, goop, bobbing for apples, I have to admit I am looking forward to the adult part of the evening. We have all pitched and will have babysitters to watch out kids and my husband has agreed to be the driver. I don’t agree with getting obnoxiously drunk but once in awhile it is nice to have a couple drinks and not have to worry about the extras. Right? Or is that just me? I received this recipe for a Midnight Margarita in my inbox today from CASCAL and thought it would be the perfect drink for Saturday night and something totally different.
Let me know what your Halloween plans are? Are you headed to a party, trunk or treating, trick or treating, passing out candy?
Midnight Margarita Ingredients
1 1/4 oz. Tequila
1/4 oz. Cointreau
1/4 oz. Grand Marnier
Juice of half a small lime
2 oz. CASCAL Fresh Tropical
Midnight Margarita Directions
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass over ice, except CASCAL Fresh Tropical. Shake hard. Strain out into rocks or cocktail glass filled with ice and top off with CASCAL Fresh Tropical. Stir gently. Garnish with lime wedge.
