Welcome to Phone Dump Friday. I will be “dumping” my phone each Friday (or so I hope!) to give you a closer look into my crazy life with my two boys.
April and her clan recently came for a visit and we headed out to The Great National Sand Dunes for the day. We had hoped for good weather (which means no wind) but Spring time in the Valley prevailed. As we loaded up the shovels, dump trucks, bubbles and lunches for what we hoped would be several hours the wind started to blow.
We chanced it anyways and the kiddos made it 45 minutes before we were ready to go home (I think April whined the most). The kids had a good day though and hopefully they will get to make it back in May or early June when the water is running through the dunes. That really is the best time to go because the weather is a bit calmer, warmer and the water is perfect for the little ones to spend 4-5 hours playing in.

Corbin is upset because I won’t help him dig to China. Good luck with that buddy. 🙂
PS… Check out more Phone Dump Friday’s to learn more about my family.

They are boys so they are always digging to China. We have little tunnels started that will lead to China all over the country side and in every park. HAHA.

12 years agoSuper cute photos. That’s funny that your son wanted to dig himself to China. I remember trying to do that when I was a kid. My mom handed me a spoon and sent me into the backyard to get started. Have a great weekend!

12 years ago AUTHORThey are an amazing place for a family outing, especially when the creek is running. Tough to get a parking spot sometimes.
