Spiced Rum Pumpkin Pie Coffee
As I keep saying one of my favorite things about fall is the fact that it is time for pumpkin. While I was in the convenience store the other day I saw that pumpkin spice cappuccino has made it’s appearance. Yippee!! Move over Hot Spiced Tea and Decadent Homemade Hot Chocolate, your competition has arrived!
The one problem with this is that I want pumpkin spice coffee more than just when I am in town and even more than when I am willing to drag my kids into the convenience store to get this fall treat. Can we just say that while I might be desperate I am hardly ever that desperate. That’s when it becomes time to figure out my own recipe.
Spiced Rum Pumpkin Pie Coffee is not exactly the pumpkin spice cappuccino you can snag from the convenience store but everything homemade is better.
I must remember to stock up on pumpkin spice creamer during the pumpkin season though because I can already tell I will be having this delicious treat on cold spring mornings as well. It’s ok to start off the morning with rum right? Ok, fine your probably right I will have to reserve my Spiced Rum Pumpkin Pie Coffee for the evenings, good thing caffeine doesn’t have much of an effect on me.
- 4 oz Coffee (Made)
- 1 ½ Tbsp Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer (Powder)
- 2 oz Spiced Rum
- Whip Cream
- Sprinkle Nutmeg
- In coffee cup mix coffee and creamer until powder is fully mixed.
- Add in the spiced rum.
- Top with whip cream and sprinkle a dash of nutmeg over the top.
This Spiced Rum Pumpkin Coffee is good served hot or iced.
