I am a huge fan of the little ones writing letters to Santa. I think it’s really good for them for a couple of reasons. Not only does it work on handwriting, which my oldest needs all the help he can get. Dear Santa Letters also help with spelling, and the third reason (and maybe most important) is that it gives me an idea of what they truly want for Christmas. I generally don’t have to many issues coming up with something to give the boys, but the problem falls when others start asking what they need or want.
Dear Santa letters don’t always have to be mailed to Santa for ideas, it’s easy to send the letter to grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc… This helps curb the questions and gives everyone an idea of what your kiddos truly want.
